Hands down the best hospital! From the second floor to the 5th floor, our son was so well cared for. The staff listened to our concerns as parents and were very attentive and quick to not just answer the bedside call button but actually to show up quickly. They had high schoolers who volunteer to bring necessities for an extended stay. Small toiletries, blanket, pillow etc and you keep them all. Staff discharged quickly and not only did pharmacy explain all meds but so did nursing staff. The intern and residents made rounds and were very knowledgable, answered questions, and even came back to give us answers they may not have known. Surgical staff were amazing. Anesthesia sent not just CRNA and Anesthesiologist but also the resident and intern. We were completely blown away with the service. If we need more medical services, this will be our first choice of hospitals!! We have been in training hospitals before and this by far superseded our previous experiences.

This is my go to hospital. I've had many medical issues that have needed attended. This is a training hospital, so they are always fully staffed even tho it's the busiest ER I've ever been to. A lot of people think that cause it's a state run training hospital the care is sub-par but they have teams of doctors and nurses caring for you. You know they aren't some doc who is tired of his job and thiks he's better than his patients and does a half ass job. They are renovating and building on to their structures and their technology.

My partner was at JPS for 2 weeks. Most of it in the ICU. The ICU was absolutely top notch. Doctor check ins daily. Nurses going the extra mile. Keeping it completely comfortable at night while I slept in the room too. Once we left the ICU the attention wasn’t as spot on but we still had some incredible nurses. Everyone seemed to work together as a team, check in on me and treat my unconscious partner with the upmost respect. The facility was also nice and clean. We unfortunately had to leave the facility and quickly realized how good we had it at JPS and miss that care and cohesion from a team immediately.

Don't usually visit the hospital (3× in my life), as I'm extremely healthy, and have only experienced them through family members. However, this tooth that needs to be pulled caused a wide-spread infection concluding in hearing loss and a swallowing impairment- demanding my admission. They were very responsive, thorough in information, resourceful in treatment and beautifully spirited in their approach and hospitality.❤️

I've been coming to JPS for 11 years since I moved here and I've never had a problem with anyone , they do their job and always care bout my well being at all times

My mom went to the ER with a pulse over 200 bpm and she received excellent care! Every staff member who interacted with her was professional and had great bedside manner. The doctors who did the procedure kept us informed and took time out of their busy day to follow up and see that she was recovering well. Great job all around

I would like to share the experience I had during a recent visit to jps hospital. I have been developing some pretty bad mental issues. It got so bad. I packed a bag full of clothes. And went to JPS hospital. I packed clothes because I was expecting to be committed to the psych ward. Upon my intake. They ask me what was going on to bring me there. I told them that I was completely unhinged mentally. They ask me if I was homicidal or suicidal. I told them, that if I had a gun. I would have blown my head off by now. Instead of sticking me in the psych ward. They took me back and did blood work on me. Turns out that my thyroid was completely out of whack. And it turns out this was what was causing my mental issues. I was very difficult to deal with during this process. They could have just easily sent me to the psych ward. And not have to deal with me. But they didn't. They were very nice, professional and understanding. The only complaint I have. Is the mattresses on the first floor emergency room suck. Very uncomfortable! I don't blame JPS for this. They are a county funded hospital. And have to spend the funds they get. Where it is best suited. Like pay there outstanding doctors. And nurses and support staff. Great hospital, caring staff! Recommend this place to anyone needing a good hospital.

My husband came here to get his wisdom teeth out and Stacy(RDA) and Dr. Nadar did a fantastic job!!! Will definitely be back if needed.

Jps is a great hospital. Everyone I encountered from the ER to the 11th floor to the OR was professional, kind, and caring. Special shout out to the nurses on the eleventh floor especially Rhonda, Kimber, KB and Glorious. Thank you for your kindness and care.

These are amazing people. I cannot say it enough these people care about you. They actually have saved my life in my wife’s life. We all go to JPS Health system. I was born here in 1964 and I worked here in 1978. Yes, I was 14. They had to let me go when they found out, but I love this hospital. They’ve been very good to me. Thank you to the host staff to help me through my last illness and that is helping my wife today, I have so many names. I will come back on here and put some more names in here.
